BROOKLYN, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- MakerBot is kicking-off the annual month-long festival of architecture at the MakerBot Store in New York City with a special 3D printing professional lecture with noted designer W. Scott Allen of Perkins+Will. Scott Allen will discuss how he and other architects are embracing the use of MakerBot Desktop 3D Printers in their work. This lecture is geared for architects and those interested in utilizing 3D printing on a professional basis. The lecture will take place 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, September 25, 2013, at the MakerBot Store, located at 298 Mulberry Street (between Bleeker and Houston Streets). This informative lecture will provide attendees with an inside look at how architects are utilizing 3D printing to help visualize building projects and showcase their designs.
