This year Industrie takes place in the heart of the leading French economic region, at Paris Nord Villepinte, and focuses on evolving industrial markets and the creative, innovative solutions required for companies to gain a competitive edge. Objet 3D printed car dashboard from StreetScooter Objet will demonstrate real 3D printing applications from a number of industries including a car dashboard, complete with display screens and other 3D printed parts. The 1.4 meter wide model was created for StreetScooter, a project to create an affordable and sustainable electric car with a collective of over 80 companies. Chosen for its robustness, parts of the dashboard were printed in the Objet ABS-like Digital Material whilst other Objet materials were used to simulate fine-details.

Additionally, the entry-level Objet Desktop 3D printer will run live on the MG2 stand (5L58), whilst the unique and widely acclaimed compact Objet260 Connex multi-material 3D printer will be demonstrated on the Rosilio stand (5U75). Demonstrating the advantages of multi-material 3D printing, the Objet260 Connex includes the range of nearly 70 materials and can print up to 14 materials in one build, with varying properties from rigid to rubber, opaque to transparent, to engineering plastics simulation.
